Laps

Views the local administrator password for a managed Mac.

What It Does

Retrieves the Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS) credentials from Jamf Pro. This displays both the admin username and the current password for the device.

How to Use

1. Open the device and tap the command LAPS

2. Tap Reveal to authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID

3. The admin username and password are displayed on screen

4. Tap the copy button to copy the credentials

Note: This action is audited and the password will be automatically rotated within the next 3 hours at device check-in.
