Management History

Views the history of MDM commands sent to a managed Mac, grouped into completed, pending, and failed.

What It Does

Management History shows a record of the MDM commands that have been sent to this device, grouped into Completed, Pending, and Failed - the same management history you see in the Jamf Pro console. Use it to confirm a command reached the device, see what is still queued, and read the error on anything that failed. The list refreshes on its own while commands are still pending, so a command moving from pending to completed appears without a manual reload.

How to Use

  1. Open the device and tap the Management History button - the clock icon in the top-right corner

  2. Use the Completed / Pending / Failed selector to switch between command states

  3. Tap the search icon to filter the list by command name

  4. Pull down to refresh the history at any time

To clear commands that are stuck or no longer needed, use Flush Commands from this screen - see Flush commands.

Note: Viewing management history requires the View MDM command information in Jamf Pro API privilege on the Jamf Pro account that nDuo iQ signs in with. Without it, this screen shows a Permission Needed notice instead of the history. See Requirements for the full list of privileges.
