Unmanage Device
Removes the MDM management profile from a Mac.
What It Does
Sends a command to remove the Jamf Pro MDM profile from the Mac. Once removed, the device can no longer receive management commands, policies, or configuration profiles. Managed apps and data may also be removed depending on how they were deployed.
How to Use
Open the device, tap More and select Unmanage Device
Type UNMANAGE to confirm you understand the impact
Review the final warning and tap Unmanage to send the command
Warning: This action is irreversible. Once the MDM profile is removed, the device cannot be remotely managed again without re-enrolment.
